The pattern booklet includes instructions for all the spiral shown, each on a separate
page. The spirals are shown as cushions but can easily be adapted for other items.
- Afghan or floor rug: Continue until the spiral is the size you want
- Hat: Begin with a small spiral until the circumference is the size of your head.
Then work straight.
- Bag: Make two pieces of the same shape (they do not have to be the same spiral.)
Make a long straight strip to go approximately three-quarters of the way round the
circumference. Stitch in place to form the sides and bottom of the bag.
- Shawl: Use lightweight yarn to make a large spiral which can be folded in half to
wear as a shawl.
