This afghan was made at Beckermet C of E School in Cumbria.
A spokesperson for the school said “We found the afghan design really easy to follow. As one of the adult helpers pointed out it was a bit like climbing a hill, the top being the maximum number of stitches and the change of colour and then the easy quick descent, having now learnt the knitting process."
