MATHEMATICAL SLIPPERS

The sudden realisation that all feet have very similar proportions, regardless of size, led to this pattern for simple slippers. You only need to know the (approximate) size of a person’s foot and you can make slippers in any yarn, using any needles.

This is a typical Woolly Thoughts pattern. It works on simple mathematical principles. The only maths you need is to be able to divide a small number by three.

The basic pattern can be customised in various ways - some of which can be seen in the photos.
