Guinness World Record Attempt
On May 31, 2014 a team of 8 people from Germany, UK and the Netherlands attempted to break their previous record for shearing a sheep, spinning and twining the yarn and knitting a sweater. The event took place at Tuin Pension Groenewoud, Swalmen.
Team Groenewoud are World Champions again
They completed the Challenge in 5 hours 26 minutes 31 seconds
This was six minutes faster than their 2013 time
The results were announced on June 10, 2014 and confirm that
Team Groenwoud are World
Champions for another year
and have set a new Mainland Europe record and a new Netherlands
record
