The Guinness record was not broken.
The challenge was completed in 6 hours 3 minutes and 28 seconds.
This time was the fastest of 2012 and the team were winners of the 18th International Back to Back Wool Challenge.
They also become holders of  the Netherlands Record and the Mainland Europe Record.

On May 12, 2012 a team of 8 people from Germany and the Netherlands attempted to break the record for shearing a sheep, spinning and twining the yarn and knitting a sweater. The event took place at Tuin Pension Groenewoud, Swalmen.
