These two jackets were made from the same pink textured yarn. A matching blue was used for one and a smooth plain black for the other.


They were made up of squares like those in the illustration, not the squares that are immediately obvious in the finished jackets. The squares in the pink and black jacket are parallel to the hem; those in the blue jacket are standing on their points.


To make jackets with the same overall width the two sets of squares have to be different sizes.
