I am totally, totally impressed. I haven't come anywhere near to working through all of it yet but I've glanced through most of it ... that didn't do it justice so I'm working my way through bit by bit.
The Practical Knowledge section is very useful, particularly the deck of cards.
I "worked" through the Starters. Sad that it may be I did NOT know that the sum of the first 10 Fibonacci numbers equalled 11 times the 7th. Well impressed. I loved the Strings and Windmills although it would have helped if I hadn't missed out 48 from my 8 times table and then when I realised my mistake (after a LONG while) I then added the digits incorrectly. 48 = 4+8 = 1+2 = 2!!!!!!!!
I'm going to attack the Algebra section next, then the Number, then the Handling Data and, finally, Shape And Space.
It's very, very good. Easy to follow and manoeuvre about. It gave me some great ideas. I'm being observed in a fortnight (Professional bleeding Development) and will use them then.
As I work through the CD I'll feedback. Watch this space.
