Everything revolved around the word- play in their titles. We made about fifty covers and they all had 'roll', 'paper', 'tissue', or similar words, in their names.  </DIV> <DIV class=s2>  </DIV> <DIV class=s2> For example: <I>Swiss Roll</I> was a red cover with a white cross, to represent the Swiss flag; a pink pig was <I>Ham Roll</I>; <I>Paper Tiger</I> was self-explanatory; a computer keyboard was <I>Tissue Type</I>. The working title for the book was<I> On a Roll. </I></DIV> <DIV class=s2>  </DIV> <DIV class=s2> The idea was very quickly taken up by Guild of Master Craftsman Publications and thirty covers were chosen for inclusion in the book. The original titles were abandoned. The book was published in September 2007, under the title <I><A class=s2 HREF="http://www.woollythoughts.com/trc.html">Toilet Roll Covers.</A> </I></DIV> <DIV class=s2> <I> </I></DIV> <DIV class=s2> <I></I>Some of our favourite covers were not included and are <A class=s2 HREF="http://www.woollythoughts.com/toilet.html">now available individually</A>. We are particularly fond of the Paper People. </DIV> <DIV class=s2>  </DIV> <DIV class=s2> At one stage in the preparation of the book it was suggested that the same ideas might be adapted for hats and/or tea cosies. These photos are variations of one of the toilet roll covers in the book. The difference in size was achieved by using other thicknesses of yarn. The cover depicts the flag which was designed for the country. Any establishment displaying Danny's flag could declare itself an embassy. This cover was called <I>Bog Standard</I>. It was used as a prop on one programme and the photograph taken in our bathroom was used as the closing shot of the final inter-active programme of the series.  </DIV> <DIV class=s2>  </DIV> <DIV class=s2> We also made a pair of mittens which were plain on one side, with a flag on the other side so that King Danny could choose which way to wave to his people. </DIV> <DIV class=s2>  </DIV> <DIV
